Phase I Environmental Site Assessment; Comprehensive Site Assessment; Interim/Limited Site Assessment; Feasibility Studies; Fate and Transportation Study; and Corrective Action Plans.

Drilling Services
HEC maintains and operates three limited access drill rigs for use in shallow (40 feet) soil and groundwater investigations. A wide range of soil and groundwater sampling equipment enables custom designed sampling programs, including 2-inch diameter groundwater monitoring wells, fixed or temporary well points (hydropunch), and precision drive sampling utilizing a custom designed autosampler.

Concrete Coring Services
HEC maintains and operates a concrete coreing machine capable of cutting up to 12-inch cores through 10-inch thick concrete. The availability of this equipment often reduces downtime in the field and significantly increases project efficiency.

Environmental Management Services
HEC staff and management provide management services of varying degrees to industry and local organizations on an as-needed basis.

States of California and Arizona UST Cleanup Fund Assistance
HEC is currently managing a number of projects that have been approved for funding by both California and Arizona UST Reimbursement Funds. HEC management is proficient in assisting UST owners with reimbursement fund applications and requests for funding. HEC presently maintains a near 100% reimbursement return rate to the owners for its work under the clean up fund guidelines.

Drilling and Installation of Monitoring Wells
Utilization of hollow stem auger, air percussion, air rotary drilling methods, two and four inch monitoring wells, dedicated or temporary groundwater well points.

Soil Sampling and Analysis
Limited access drilling, hand auger, split spoon drive samples, continuous core, analysis per required methods.

Treatability Studies
Bioremediation, vapor extraction feasibility (dual phase extraction tests), groundwater pump and treat, air sparging.

Well Monitoring
In accordance with pertinent regulatory agency(s), monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting.

Underground Utility Locating
Utilization of electrical conductive/inductive methods to locate underground utilities prior to subsurface work.
